一、旨揭專案係國科會為提供外籍科研人才來臺實習管道,增加認識臺灣科研實力之機會,進而提升來臺深造或就業意願,以充實臺灣科研人力,特委由財團法人國家實驗研究院科政中心規劃辦理。
二、本專案規劃內容重點如次:
(一)申請期間:即日起開放線上申請,外籍實習生應依預計實習起始月份,於下列期限前完成實習申請程序。預計於115年6月或7月起始實習者,應於2月13日前完成申請;預計於8月、9月或10月起始實習者,應於4月15日前完成申請;預計於11月或12月起始實習者,應於7月15日前完成申請。
(二)實習名額:600名實習生為上限。
(三)實習期間:因應各國學制差異,實習生可於115年6月至116年2月間安排實習,期程至少28日、至多90日,惟來臺起始日不得晚於115年12月31日。
(四)申請資格:具外國籍且於國外大專院校就學,符合我國重點研究領域或具有人文社會科學專業知識背景之非大陸(含港澳)地區在學生。
(五)申請方式:提報實習職缺之計畫主持人或主動申請之外籍學生,請至本專案網站(https://iipp.stpi.niar.org.tw/)線上註冊帳號,並填妥相關資訊。
(六)實習原則:計畫主持人於實習期間需提供實習生適當研究指導,並協助與臺灣學生互動交流及認識臺灣多元文化;實習生須依參與計畫之研究主題及領域,從事相關研究與學習。
三、為利本專案之推動,檢附專案英文申請須知(附件一)及廣宣文件(附件二)各1份,惠請協助公告周知,並鼓勵計畫主持人及外籍學生踴躍報名。

Description:
1. To provide international scientific research talent with channels for internships in Taiwan, increase opportunities for them to recognize Taiwan's research strengths, and subsequently enhance their willingness to pursue advanced studies or employment in Taiwan to bolster the nation's scientific research workforce, the NSTC has specially commissioned the Science & Technology Policy Research and Information Center (STPI) of the National Institutes of Applied Research (NIAR) to plan and implement this project.
2. Key details of the program are as follows:
(1) Application Period: Online applications are open starting today. International interns must complete the application process by the following deadlines based on their expected start date:
A. For internships starting in June or July 2026: Apply by February 13.
B. For internships starting in August, September, or October 2026: Apply by April 15.
C. For internships starting in November or December 2026: Apply by July 15.
(2) Internship Quota: A maximum of 600 interns.
(3) Internship Duration: To accommodate different international academic calendars, internships may take place between June 2026 and February 2027. The duration must be a minimum of 28 days and a maximum of 90 days. However, the start date in Taiwan must be no later than December 31, 2026.
(4) Eligibility: Current students of foreign nationality (excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau) enrolled in overseas colleges or universities, specializing in Taiwan's key research fields or possessing a background in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
(5) Application Method: Principal Investigators (PIs) offering internship positions or international students applying independently should register an account and complete the required information on the official project website: https://iipp.stpi.narl.org.tw/
(6) Internship Principles: PIs are required to provide appropriate research guidance during the internship and assist interns in interacting with Taiwanese students and experiencing Taiwan's diverse culture. Interns must engage in research and learning activities related to the theme and field of the participating project.
3. To facilitate the promotion of this project, the English Application Guidelines (Attachment 1) and Promotional Materials (Attachment 2) are attached. Please assist in disseminating this information and encouraging PIs and international students to apply.
